Region No 7 (Janakpur) defeated Armed Police Force (APF) by 5 runs to secure the title of Inaugural Prime Minister Cup Women’s National cricket tournament played at Pokhara Rangashala Ground on wednesday.Saraswoti Chaudhary declared as man of the match who managed two wickets (4-0-7-2) to pull back an energetic win for Janakpur. APF won the toss and invited Janakpur to bat.Janakpur could only manage to score 45 runs and were settled out in 17.3 overs. The winner team received cash prize of NRs. 50000 while the runner-up got NRs. 30000.
