KATHMANDU, JUN 05 - Five people that went missing from Singati village in dolakha have been confirmed to be the ones killed in the US helicopter that crashed in Ghorthali village of Sindhupalchok district on May 12.
Remnants were taken from the crash site of the ill-fated flight for DNA testing as relatives of those missing since may 12 begun inquiring about the missing's whereabouts. Earlier in this week a team of related personnel had visited the village to collect DNA samples to check if those dead were among the missing reported.
2 Nepali army personnel and 6 US marines had lost their lives in the same crash and the news of these further casualties is surely capable of evoking the pain that has just begun to lessen. US Army will publish an official statement to inform about the situation of the missing persons, the NA sources said .
