Politicians and Artists play to raise fund

KATHMANDU, JUN 06 - Political leaders and artists played a friendly football match at Armed Police Force Halchowk Ground today to collect fund for the people affected by the recent 7.8 Magnitude earthquake that killed 8600+ people across central Nepal.

 The politician's team was led by prime minister Sushil Koirala and included Pushpa Kamal Dahal, KP Sharma Oli, Mohan Baidhya, Baburam Bhattarai, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, Gagan Thapa. Artists Hari Bansha Acharya and Madan Krishna Shrestha led the artist's team who netted 3 goals while politicians failed to put anything beyond the goal line.

Naya patrika organised the match for the cause.
