M 5.3 Aftershock Felt at 9:57 PM local time
Kathmandu 11th June: An aftershock of Magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale sent people rushing out on the streets at approximately 10 O'clock today. The epicenter of this aftershock was Sindhupalchowk just a little further North-East of Chautara.
At this time Nat-Geo's documentary ,"Trapped In Nepal" was being aired on the television. It is not surprising to see the fear still prevalent in the residents of the quake affected zone as memories of the deadly tremors on 25th April and 12th May were revived.
