APF won the toss and invited Janakpur to bat.</span><span style="line-height: 30.6000003814697px;">Janakpur could only manage to score 45 runs and were settled out in 17.3 overs.</span><span style="line-height: 30.6000003814697px;"> </span></span><span style="color: #333333; line-height: 30.6000003814697px; text-align: left;">The winner team received cash prize of NRs. 50000 while the runner-up got NRs. 30000.</span></span></div>

Kathmandu 17th June: Three earthquakes, aftershocks of the Great Gorkha earthquake, have been felt in Kathmandu within 30 minutes at 5:58 , 6:14 and 6:26 AM.<br />

Nepal Seismological center measured the Magnitudes to be 4.4 , 5.2 and 4.0 respectively. The first tremor of magnitude 4.4 at 5:58 Am was centered in Kirtipur and sent local residents of Kathmandu running into the streets in fear. Heavy shaking was felt that lasted only a couple of seconds. The other two following quakes, however, were light as they had epicenter farther in Sindhupalchowk.<br />

It has been nearly two months since the Deadly Magnitude 7.8 quake rattled Nepal and small quake keep visiting like trustworthy followers of the disaster!

Kathmandu 11th June: An aftershock of Magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale sent people rushing out on the streets at approximately 10 O'clock today. The epicenter of this aftershock was Sindhupalchowk  just a little further North-East of Chautara.<br />

At this time Nat-Geo's documentary ,"Trapped In Nepal" was being aired on the television. It is not surprising to see the fear still prevalent in the residents of the quake affected zone as memories of the deadly tremors on 25th April and 12th May were revived.

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Kathmandu 10th June</span>: Mahanta thakur, leader of Terai Madhesh Democratic party, has remarked that the 30 party alliance led by Maoists is no longer valid after they were betrayed as 4 major parties brewed consensus despite the disapproval of Madhesh based parties. Mahanta Thakur who is generally seen keeping himself aside media spotlight, finally spoke to Kantipur that they were ready to hit the streets if the constitutional cauldron hasn't got the recipe suited for Madhesi taste.<br />
<br />
Thakur also accused the nation for being unfair to Terai since forever and suggested protest until Madhesis have what they "need". Thakur  made it clear that they needed a separate state accumulating all of Terai and are not looking to include any hills in the state.<br />
<br />
Madhesh-based parties were criticized for protesting hastily even before the mapping and naming was done; to which Thakur replied firmly "Morning shows the day", clearly suggesting dissatisfaction on the decision made by the major parties. The 30-party alliance broke when Maoist led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal(Prachanda) , and Bijay kumar gachhedar's Forum loktantrik agreed on the 8-state proposal put forward in the meeting yesterday.<br />

While supporting Thakur's views, Madhesi parties and Madhesis often bring up the Janakpur-Bhittamod road that has been decorated as a dirt-bike track since a decade with no work being done while even the smallest of towns between the Chure and Mahabharat hills are accessible without a bumpy ride.<br />

The political lighthouse shows a series of protests could follow the wounds created by the 25th april  disaster. Everyone has their own demands, own ideologies, own methods while Nepalese look onto someone with the proper antibiotics!<br />

<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">The agreement came a month after deadly earthquakes devastated the country. This agreement surely came after the urgent need to stabilize the country for effective endeavors after leaders were heavily criticized for their inability to act quick for rescue and relief.</span></span><br />

<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Dozens of small parties rejected the agreement saying that naming and making boundaries were too important a matter to be left out at this point. The heart of previous disputes lied in the disagreement of Maoist and Madhesh-based parties who insisted on naming the states on the basis of ethnicity. The disputes were also based on the disagreement in the number and boundaries of the federal states.</span></span><br />

Europe. What should the common language be? Which language has a base

has been leading the race as a global language, leaving behind every
other language by a huge margin on the basis of the speakers’
numbers. The emergence of English is clearly a process dominated by
the political and economic influence of English nationals across the
world. This tradition surfaced with the great industrial revolution
in the 18<span style="border: none; display: inline-block; padding: 0in;">th</span> century,
which included great voyages to different places for building trade.
Also, as this essay is being written, a mind is translating its
thoughts in English.</span></span></div>

is no official definition of a “global language”, but essentially
it refers to a language that is learnt and spoken internationally.
This is characterised by the use of the language in foreign trade and
political handlings, enabling people from diverse backgrounds to
communicate on a common basis.</span></span></div>

history of global languages has a crucial relation with power. When
Latin held sway, the great Roman Empire blossomed as the centre of
civilisation. The spiritual power of the Roman Catholic Church also
contributed in Latin’s rise as an international language. A
particular language rises as the number of native speakers rise in
the society, and by extension, falls when the speakers pass out.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 10pt;">The
influence of any language can be seen by the number of countries
using it as their mother tongue, number of countries adopting it as
their official language, and also the number of countries teaching it
as a foreign language. Apparently, English has been leading in every
category.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 10pt;">Everyone
talks about how English is the global language, and it means much
more than the British Beatles singing on the radio. English has
become the global language because it has become a vital part of the
international society. English dominates the world of movies and
music, of drama and debate.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 10pt;">English
is believed to have relatively easier grammar and sentence structure.
In a global society we need to communicate, and it’s not feasible
to have a translator translating the words of love to your Venezuelan
sweetheart! It would surely be convenient if both have a language in
common which is easier to learn.</span></span></div>
<div style="border: none; line-height: 0.22in; margin-bottom: 0in; padding: 0in;">
<span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 10pt;">Many
countries have been spending a lot of money for the development of
English speakers in their countries. Why only English? It’s easy,
they say.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 10pt;">English
has indeed become an integral part of the global village. Whether you
are a doctor, an engineer, a media person, an actor, a singer, a
physicist or anybody else, you need English. Global English remains
as an existent evidence of functional reality. Everywhere you look:
direction boards, advertisement banners everything has the English
component in them. You go on a holiday to Spain or Africa, English
will suffice. What is the future of English as a global language?
That only time can tell!</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">People say that music is connected to our souls. Apparently, this 
seems true as people begin to involuntarily shake their heads when they 
hear a particular song. Some may question: Does this really happen? Yes,
 of course! I am pretty sure Adolf Hitler enjoyed the Nazi beats and 
Osama Bin Laden loved songs which said something like, "Oh America, 
you're going down down daaaoooonnn!"</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
What makes music such a dynamic form of communication to the soul? 
Music has got something divine that connects it to the soul, and that 
divine something is yet to be discovered. My little sister, who can't 
even speak an authentic word (no one can when they are just five months 
into the world), begins moving her arms and legs with a consuming light 
in her eyes upon hearing any form of music.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
At the beginning of the 20th century, there was a vast increase in 
the number of people listening to music with the increasing popularity 
of the radio. Music then began to be known as the art of exploring new 
rhythms, styles and sounds.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
People also began to see music as a medium for self-enlightenment. In
 the 1960s, people believed that music combined with very strong 
psychedelic substances like LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) could be a 
tool for changing us into what we are supposed to be. Regular users said
 that it enabled them to see through the invisible mask that everyone 
had put on themselves. They said that it powered their spiritual side 
and enabled them to understand life and death.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
People also claim that you can judge a person's character by the kind
 of music he likes and the components of a song - music, lyrics, vocal, 
tone - that he focuses more on. For instance, if someone likes Bob 
Dylan, there is a 95 per cent chance that he/she is a quiet, critical, 
honest and emotional person. I have met a few people who act as if they 
like Bob Dylan or the Beatles (but they don't actually) making room for 
the other 5 per cent I mentioned earlier.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
Music is a tool that can reduce chronic pain, improve our mood, 
decrease the blood pressure, help stroke recovery, lower the heart rate,
 calm down, and enhance our ability to learn and many other countless 
things. A study report that inspired me to write this article claimed 
that music could reduce chronic pain from diseases such as 
osteoarthritis by 21 per cent and depression by 25 per cent. Also those 
listening to Celtic, classical or Indian (raga) can significantly lower 
their blood pressure, too.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
Music is a powerful tool, an unchanged reality, a fine bright spot in
 the dark, a curious stare into the unknown. Music gives us wings; it 
carries us through uncertainties; it gives us ears to listen to our 
spirit. Most importantly, it is a weapon of truth and is free!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">“Not only people of
Nepal but also those who believe in the power of democracy are looking at Nepal
and this Assembly. The world that believes in democracy is looking for Nepal’s
constituent assembly, to the leaders sitting here,” is the exact translation of
what the honorable prime minister of India, Mr. Narendra Damodas Modi,
mesmerized during his eloquent speech on the 3</span><sup style="font-family: inherit;">Rd</sup><span style="font-family: inherit;"> of August. The
students got it, the people got it, but what made the people wonder is that,
the group of conspiracy wizards commonly addressed as the people’s
representatives, to whom the speech was actually addressed to, did not
understand it all.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">What the Nepalese just
witnessed, in the constituent assembly on the night of the 21<sup>st</sup> Of
this month, is something that was never ever expected in the land of peace, the
birth place of Lord Buddha, in our country Nepal. It was the last thing that
any citizen of a country would expect from the leaders that the chose to lead
their country. That was in fact an act of the uncivilized; I would not call
them people, an act of prejudice.  Politicians, the actual role models of
our country, are doing their duty or are they not? Politics, is it defined as
it should be? <br />It's been 4 years since
the election, but the constitution has not been drafted yet. There was a sense
of pride in the air, the 10<sup>th</sup> From the April, 2008, the day of
the election, the first ever constituent assembly election with the aim to
secure the future of the country.  The citizens with all of their faith on
the people to represent themselves voted them to the chair, giving them two
whole years, a total of 730 days to draft a constitution of the country. We all
know what happened then, don’t we? We were betrayed by the same people for whom
our valuable votes were cast upon. And then there was an extension, the
extension of two years; we did not have an option, did we? The parties were in
dispute, then and are now in dispute.  A conclusion could not be made and
the assembly was dissolved.<br />A wise person has once
said, “Mistakes and failures are just the proofs of trying.” It is true. But
this failure became the cause thousands of sinking hearts.  It was decided
to elect the members for the constituent assembly again. People with a hint of
hopes, took all the trouble of casting their votes again. Millions of rupees
were spent all over again.  People had to vote as they did what they had
to. The election was conducted yet the job has not been done. Every citizen has
been outraged with anger and no wonder they were wrong again in identifying the
right people. Parties have been in dispute with each other continuously over
the past 4 years. But this Sunday, an outrageous scene was created in the
assembly, the politician’s fighting like the stray dogs down in our street. I
had been one month since Modi gave the blistering speech in the assembly, but
even the great words of Modi went to no avail.<br />Keeping these things
apart, is not it that the Nepalese is known across the globe for their loyalty,
for their patriotism, for being responsible and giving everything they can
complete their tasks? But it is not all about the election.  It is all
about being responsible about your work and being loyal to your country. If it
is not the leaders that are to be responsible then who is it? If it is not the
leaders to be the role models, then who is it? If it is not the members of the
constituent assembly to draft the constitution then who is it? It is known for
a fact that one who hires should share every return and loss. So is it actually
our fault that we were unable to recognize the actual qualified leaders? Think
people, ask yourselves and answer them. And all the very best to identify the
capable candidates, if you get to vote again.</span></div>
